2004 Coulee Sno-Drifters Show Saturday, October 16th Onalaska, Wisconsin Armed with a 1973 Rupp Nitro and an extremely warm winter jacket, I headed over to the American Legion in Onalaska for the Coulee Sno-Drifters First Annual Vintage Snowmobile Show, Swap Meet, and Chili Feed. If you are looking for a bargain in vintage snowmobiling, this is it. Attendees could get in to the show for FREE, swap parts or sleds for FREE, and get a chance to win raffle prizes and an all-you-can eat chili lunch for just $2.00. Despite this being a first year show and the weather turning bitter cold, there was still a great turnout of quality vintage sleds, including a 1975 Scorpion Brut, a 1976 Arctic Cat 250Z, and a super clean 1979 Polaris TX 340. Here are some pictures of sleds I saw at the event:
Here's the winner of "Best of Show": 1979 Polaris TX 340, Owner: Dana Bachmayer, Stratford, WI If you have any additional pictures that I could post on this event, send me a picture with a description.
